Getting Started

Please read the information on this page carefully to have the best membership experience. We’re rooting for your success!

After you purchase your membership:

  • Check your email for the welcome letter and video tutorial.
  • Use the login tab to access Members-only content on our website.
  • If you don’t remember your password or it doesn’t work to log in, reset your password using the link on the login page.
  • Once you’ve purchased your membership and logged in, you’ll see two additional options in the drop-down menu:
    • Video Library
    • Online Classes

Video Library

  • Get started with Pilates:
    • Watch the Pilates Basics video (link at the top of Video Library page & searchable by name in the search bar.)
    • Choose “slower paced” and “tutorials” videos for more in-depth instructional videos.
    • When you’re ready for more of a challenge, increase intensity and duration of your workouts.
  • Search Video Library:
    • Desktop options:
      • Search by video name or keywords using search bar
      • Search by listed category filters (desktop only):
        • Body Region
        • Props
        • Focus Area
        • Time/Duration
      • Note: If you get 0 results, your search may be too narrow. Deselect the least important filters. For example: If you selected the following 3 criteria: Abs, Under 10 minutes, Block and get no results, deselect Props. Now your search is just for “Abs” and “Under 10 minutes” — and will yield several results.
    • Mobile options:
      • Search by name of video or keywords in search bar
      • Note: The “Click on Video Help” link will provide a pop-up window of keyword options. Close the window to enter keywords in the Search Bar, then press Enter/Return.
  • Play videos for the best experience:
    • Choose a quiet, comfortable space to practice, free from distractions
    • Enlarge the screen within the video player by clicking the square-shaped icon in the top right corner (below the x)
    • AirPlay/Screen Mirror to a TV to create a more immersive experience
  • Request a new video customized for you:
    • Email me with your specific request. The more information you give me, the more I can customize the video for you. Share your request for duration of video, area of focus, props used (or no props) and any special considerations.
    • It may take me a couple weeks to create your customized video, so please give me as much notice as possible — especially if you have a deadline for travel or a special occasion.
  • Props for your practice:
    • Get your Pilates props at our Prop Shop
    • Note: Props are listed in video descriptions. Many classes don’t require props (and you can search for “No props” classes. You can also modify items at home to be used in place of traditional props.
  • Human Reformer Essentials:

  • Report a problem with a video
    • If you experience playback, sound/video quality or any other issues with a video, please email me as soon as possible. We do our best to provide the highest quality experience. If there’s a problem, please let us know so that we can fix it.

Online Classes

  • Connect to our live Zoom class:
    • Click the red Zoom button at the top of the Online Classes page before class begins.
    • You will be connected to the class as soon as your host joins the class.
    • All participants’ mics will be muted before and during class to prevent distractions. I’ll send you an invitation to unmute yourself at the end of class to ask questions, provide feedback and connect with your MM friends.
  • View the Online Class Calendar:
    • Classes are usually held the first Friday of the month from 8:00am-8:30am Pacific Time.
    • Updated class schedule is posted on the Online Classes page.
    • Props are listed in class description. Many classes don’t require props. You can modify items at home to be used in place of traditional props.
